Direct Access to MRI's and X-Rays
In an area first, Dr. Press' office has now installed a sophisticated PACS (Picture archiving and communications system) server, to allow direct access to any MRI center, Radiologist or Hospital so they can simply transfer your films images to us, as soon as your films are done.
We are also believed to be the first Chiropractic facility in the area to be granted online access to the Radiology department at Englewood Hospital. So we can now electronically access your films taken there as well.
No more waiting for copies of your films, ordering CD's or sending you on trips to get them. During his post-doctoral training at Johns-Hopkins College of Medicine, where they had one of the very first MRI machines, Dr. Press learned to read MRI's and has been doing so as long as MRI's have existed. This allows us to start your treatment MUCH faster and we can receive and review the Radiologist's written report later, by fax, when they finally read the films.

World Honors Dr. Press
On April 6, in Rio de Janeiro, the World Federation of Chiropractic and the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) held a joint World Congress of Chiropractic at the Intercontinental Rio Hotel. 24 years ago, Dr. Stephen Press founded the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (known as the FICS, from its name in French), at a meeting in London, at the beautiful Kensington Town Hall.[See- Dr. Press Honored at World Congress]
